How to Choose

  • Choose bananas with taut skin and an even yellow color.

  • Slightly green bananas are good for ripening at home, while dark speckles indicate stronger sweetness.

How to Store

  • Store at room temperature, ideally hanging or in a well-ventilated place.

  • Below 13°C causes chilling injury (black skin), so finish ripe bananas quickly rather than refrigerating.

  • If refrigerating, use the vegetable drawer for 1-2 days only.

Shelf life 3-5 days at room temperature

* High ethylene producer — store separately from other produce.
